When Harvey flooded Houston, our masajid opened their doors
About a dozen ISGH-area mosques took in hundreds of people with shelter, food and supplies – open to anyone, Muslim or not.
ISGH started organizing before the storm reached Texas, using its social media and center networks to collect supplies and find volunteers and homes.
As water rose across the city, masajid became shelters. ISGH president M.J. Khan said the doors were open to everyone who needed them.
